You can find me on instagram @locqueslaroux and Mènage A Rouge @menagearouge Masculinity 101: The Can-Can began appearing in the 1830s-40s in working class ballrooms in France. It was mostly danced by men but women soon joined in. There was an all-male dance troupe in the mid-19th century; the Quadrille des Clodoches.
