Mendoza’s Fantasy Potential Unveiled | Las Vegas News

Fernando Mendoza made his NFL debut with a solid 10-of-16 passing performance, throwing for 97 yards and a touchdown—showcasing the Heisman-caliber arm that made him a top draft pick. While he’s not a rushing threat, his fantasy value hinges on passing efficiency and red-zone TDs. The Raiders are wisely using veteran Kirk Cousins as a bridge, giving Mendoza time to learn without facing elite defenses early. With weapons like Brock Bowers, Jack Bech, Jalen Nailor, and Ashton Jeanty, Mendoza’s ceiling is high—and he’s a late-round sleeper in two-QB leagues or a dynasty gem to monitor.
