【蒙特梭利小短篇 EP.47】孩子的天生氣質 (上)

這一集，我想分享一篇探討孩子「天生氣質」與父母育兒的研究文章，它將temperament「天生氣質」定義為：孩子在面對外在刺激時，情緒、動作和注意力反應性的個體差異，同時還包括孩子行為與專注力調節模式的差異 (Putnam et al., 2008)。 這篇文章很有畫面的提到，許多父母常常都要在生了第二個孩子後才真正相信有「天生氣質」的存在。在這之前，父母可能都把孩子的行為視為教養的結果。直到第二個孩子出生後，才發現怎麼對第一個孩子有效的方法不管用了？第一個孩子曾遇到的餵食、睡眠、面對陌生人或環境的問題，在第二個孩子上怎麼都沒有，但又出現新的挑戰？ 這樣的經驗說明：影響孩子發展的不只有「後天環境」，還有先天的特質。 ※ 參考資料： Hunter, A., & Allard, L.
