Menomonie Talk #16- Skiing by Candlelight

It’s a whimsical experience in our area.  The annual Red Cedar Trail Candlelight Ski returns to Menomonie at the end of January.  Bill Kryshak, President of the Friends of the Red Cedar Trail and Hoffman Hills shares insight into this all-ages event that blends community, nature and awe-inspiring visions.Some 800 candles, covering 1.5 miles, illuminate the trailfor this event perfect for cross-country skiers, snowshoers and walkers alike.  After weather forced cancellationthe last couple of years, the group is excited to have this event that dates back to the 1980s.
