Take Aways
-The thoughts we have and that we have practiced for a long time are going to affect if we still have PMDD symptoms even when the physical side of menopause is finished.
-Whether or not your PMDD symptoms persist, is very influenced by  what you do leading up to it.
-Making small adjustments to be a little bit healthier NOW will go a long way to improving your menopause experience.
-If you're still experiencing PMDD symptoms after menopause: 1. Get your hormones checked 2. Consider counseling, life coaching, and/or cognitive behavioral therapy.
-Be patient. Don't rush into decisions.
-Recognize that your brain feels it feels productive when it makes a decision. Don't make a BIG decision just to feel better and to feel productive.
-"Menopause is when periods stop for good. It's diagnosed after 12 months without a menstrual period, vaginal bleeding, or spotting." -Mayo Clinic
-Average age of women experiencing menopause is 51 in the United States.
-Menopause can happen as a result of: a natural decline of hormones, a surgery that removes the ovaries, chemotherapy or radiation therapy, POI (premature ovarian insufficiency), or chemical menopause.
-"It is the big drop in estrogen levels that causes most of the symptoms of menopause." -John Hopkins
-"It’s not uncommon to experience a renewed vigor for life in your postmenopausal years....Being free from the pressure that comes with reproductive years combined with coming out on the other side of menopause gives many women a newfound sense
