Born in a tavern, John Earnhardt was delivered by apraying Adventist nurse. Growing up during the earlydays of NASCAR, he spent much of his childhood playingaround a racetrack with his cousin Dale, who had blueeyes and brown hair just like him, leading many people tobelieve they were brothers.
