Mental Health: A Discussion About Rejection | Adopting Healthy Attitudes When We Hear the Word "No"
from Support, Protect, Empower - The Project Purpose Podcast · host Rachelle Innocent
Mental Health: A Discussion About Rejection | Adopting Healthy Attitudes When We Hear the Word "No" We are going to be addressing a hot topic: how we cope with rejection in ways that are healthy for us. Rejection can feel as though someone is cutting into our sense of inner worth and value - this couldn't be further from the truth. It's important that we frame rejection in a way where we don't allow the fear of it, to cripple our pursuit of what we really want in life. Recognizing that rejections have nothing to do with who you are, but more to do with receiving information that helps you align your ideals and desires, with reality. If we can see rejection for all it is, information that helps us align our actions and our energy to our desired outcomes, it doesn't seem so paralyzing. Join in on the conversation and make the choice to do away with the fear of rejection in your life. #Fearless #Rejection #Information #Signalling #Alignment #Perspective #MentalHealth *RESOURCES* - 5 Ways Mentally Strong People Deal With Rejection: https://www.inc.com/amy-morin/5-ways-mentally-strong-people-deal-with-rejection.html - 10 Tips for Overcoming Your Fear of Rejection: https://www.healthline.com/health/fear-of-rejection - 6 Ways to Get Rejected Like a Boss: https://www.headspace.com/blog/2016/07/08/6-ways-to-get-rejected-like-a-boss/ For all topics related to renewing and rebuilding family, communities and relationships, check out our blogs!
