Dave Voelkner joins TruthSeekah in this episode of The TruthSeekah Podcast as they discuss mental heal and spiritual awakening.Being open and honest can be hard when confined within the Christian church, especially when it comes to taboo subjects like mental illness. As a young man Dave was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and many within mainstream religion look at this as something that is “broken” within and individual. Dave’s journey has led him to study the similarities within bipolar disorder and spirituality such as the Kundalini awakening. The symptoms and experiences between the two have uncanny similarities which leads to the next question. Are they one and the same? Dave has learned to balance his own energy through a daily practice of Qigong and breath work and believes others can find victory and feel comfortable within their own bodies with such ancient practices.
