Mental Health Awakening 2: PTSD Trauma - With Amy Davidson

In the next episode of Mental Health awakening 2 Mason and Angela are joined with Amy who has PTSD which stands for Post Traumatic stress disorder. We all feel PTSD isn't talked about enough! Amy shares what PTSD is and her personal experience, and gives us a bit about her background, Amy was diagnosed in 2021, how PTSD affects Amy is when sleeping unaware a dream is a dream, and the fear of spiders and Rats which wakes Amy up, this can be brought on to early events especially in Amy's childhood due to personal trauma.  We lead on to talk about the misconceptions of PTSD within the Army being more common but noticing there are lots of ways you can get PTSD each person has there own story,  Great tips from Amy, we talk about hospitals, GpS surgery's when the support of Mental Health comes to mind people to think when speaking to there patients.  Thank you again Everyone in this good episode of Mental Health awakening! 2!
