Mental Health Awareness Month: Make a list
from Today’s Gut Health Tip · host Melissa Hall Klepacki, M.Ac.
If you suffer from the feeling of being overwhelmed, where you think there is too much to do and it's paralyzing. STOP. First take a few deep breaths. Then grab a pen and paper and brain dump. Make a list of all you have to do. You can group things as make sense. After you are done take another 3 breaths and read the list over. Try to add a few other tasks. Depending on what's on your list you can either dig in or re-write your list in different groupings and then get started. Make sure to check off each item as you complete it. It helps to be organized. It helps to have a plan. It's a great feeling of accomplishment to see how much you have done. This list, should any items be incomplete, will simply move to the top of your list tomorrow. One day at a time friends.
