Mental Health: How Mistakes (CAN) Develop Critical Thinking | Ideals that Foster Our Development PII

from Support, Protect, Empower - The Project Purpose Podcast · host Rachelle Innocent

#MentalHealth #criticalthinking #perfectionism    Hello Everyone! Welcome to our second segment on Mental Health, this week.   In today's conversation, our focus is on continuing the discussion on how mistakes are fundamental in our growth and evolution.   The way we see ourselves, beyond the mistakes and errors we make, feeds into our sense of personal regard, character and integrity. If we internalize our mistakes as the building blocks of our identity, we do not give ourselves permission to grow and learn beyond behaviours and actions that stemmed from errors in judgment.   Many of us take our mistakes personally. Rather than see the learning opportunities inherent in falty decision-making, we sometimes see our mistakes as proof of our unworthiness.  It's important to understand that to err is part of the human experience. Regardless of how cataclysmic the mistakes you have made have been, you always have the opportunity to rise above -- do not allow your wrong turns to define you, rather let them inform your becoming in a positive way. #MentalHealth #NoPerfectionism #PerfectlyFlawed #BeMoreHuman #Learning #Growth #Development #trialanderror #EmbraceTheJourney #EmbraceTheProcess #WellBeing #Perspective  Do you have any questions regarding our resilience-building workshops?
