Mental Health: Resilience Translated in Adaptation & Flexibility | Highlighting Immersive Diversion

from Support, Protect, Empower - The Project Purpose Podcast · host Rachelle Innocent

#MentalHealth #Adaptation #ImmersiveDiversion  Hello Everyone,   Welcome to our first segment on Mental Health, this week 😊   In today's episode, we are chatting about how important it is to "step out" as much as it is to,"lean in."   With all that demands our attention on a day-to-day basis, it's difficult to manage the undercurrent of stress that plays into long-term decisions regarding our mental health and general sense of wellbeing.   Given the collective consciousness around health that has required our flexibility and need to adapt, this undercurrent demands more attention, and solutions that require modification and revision at a moment's notice.   Sometimes, the best thing we can do for ourselves is to step away. Not as simple as it seems, but a requirement to prevent burn out, exhaustion and fatigue. Our problems will always require our attention, it's important to recognize when we need to renew, recharge and repose. #Adaptation #Flexibility #MentalHealth #StepAway #StillnessRequired #MentalHealthBreak #PeaceInMind  *RESOURCES*   - 12 Signs You Need to Take a Break ASAP: https://www.healthline.com/health/i-need-a-break  - Emotional Stress: Warning Signs, Management, When to Get Help: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/6406-emotional-stress-warning-signs-management-when-to-get-help  - How To Establish Healthy Habits To See Renewed Focus In Your Work And Life: https://www.forbes.com/sites/forbescommunicationscouncil/2017/04/04/how-to-establish-healthy-habits-to-see-renewed-focus-in-your-work-and-life/?sh=6ab41a72273a  - Recharge Your Personal Battery with These Activities: https://www.healthline.com/health/how-to-recharge  For all topics related to renewing and rebuilding family, communities and relationships, check out our blogs!  We post bi-weekly:  https://www.spe-projectpurpose.com/blogs  Make sure to come visit us, subscribe to the website, and join our Member's Area for more valuable content:   *SOCIALS*  Website: www.spe-projectpurpose.com   Facebook Page: @ProjectPurposeSPE  Instagram: @ProjectPurposeSPE or my personal account @realistrae  Twitter: @Purpose_SPE  Pinterest: @ProjectPurposeSPE If you'd like to read my research thesis, "ADHD: Is it a Social Construct or does it have a Neurophysiological Basis?" you can find it at the following address:  https://rachellerealist.wordpress.com.   I'm more than happy to answer your questions, feel free to send an email to: [email protected]   OUR AUTONOMY, SELF-EFFICACY, COMPASSION & SELF-CONCEPT WORKSHOPS ARE AVAILABLE (AGES 4-8, 9-13 & 14-17) BE SURE TO GO TO THE WEBSITE AND MAKE YOUR PURCHASE!    Do you like the intro/outro music?   Check out the artist on Spotify:   Artist Name: Valdii  Song Name: I Learn
