Some of us, very focused on our own path, try to stay clear of community because previous experiences may have been painful and disappointing.   In truth, despite some of the hurtful experiences that we can impart on one another, in our private lives and collectively, we are all still deeply connected. The human experience is shared in as many ways as it is individualized.
