Welcome to our second segment on Mental Wellness, this week 😊 In today's conversation, we're focused on how a small shift in perspective, can create a massive change in circumstance. I am not the same person I was as an adolescent, but I had the choice to stay the same. If you met the adolescent version of me, you would have met someone who was defensive, combative, and very unsure of her value and placement in this world. Many of us had similar profiles. While my environment had a lot to do with how I was showing up, it was in changing the way I chose to show up, when my environment shifted in response. Many of us hope for change not recognizing that much of what we're looking for requires a change in us. Whether that's a change in perspective, change that comes from taking space to heal, or an opportunity to see ourselves more clearly... this journey towards the life you know you can live, starts with you doing the inner work.
