Mental Wellness: Curated Thoughts on Needing to Compromise | Acknowledging the Need for Moderation
from Support, Protect, Empower - The Project Purpose Podcast · host Rachelle Innocent
#MentalWellness #BeautyFromAshes #newbeginnings Hello Everyone! Welcome to our second segment on Mental Wellness, this week 😊 In today's discussion, we're talking about why compromise is a soft science, and why finding balance is so important. Healthy relationships require acknowledgment and respect of the desires and wants of the people we are building connections with. Its's just as important to have the people you care about feel seen and feel heard, as it is for you yourself to be seen and heard. Emphasis on mutually acknowledging one another. We can see and hear one another, without feeling pressured or obligated to bend to the other's will. As all things, compromise is a tool best leveraged in moderation. It's important that we all start to realize that consideration can translate beyond compromise, and that connection does not always need mutual consensus.
