#MentalWellness #Admiration #Envy0:00 - 2:30 - Intro 2:30 - 12:05 - The Traits We Admire & Desire 12:05 - Wrap Up Hello Everyone, I hope all is well. Welcome to our first segment on Mental Wellness, this week 😊 In today's conversation we're talking about the object of (some) of our insecurities: the traits that we admire & desire in others. More specifically, we're talking about the false assumptions and narratives we often create to accompany the traits that we recognize in the people around us. Sometimes it is the lies we tell ourselves, that keep us from creating connections that serve us well. Further, allowing ourselves to feel inferior or unsure about the value we bring, means we have failed to see the traits that we ourselves possess (that are most likely the object of quiet admiration that you're completely unaware of). In short, let's not sell ourselves short. Whatever the trait, whatever the extent that you admire or desire that trait, never let it be from a place of competition or comparison -- Who you are, as you grow and evolve on your journey, has always been enough.
