#mentalwellness #intention #accountability 0:00 - 2:30 - Intro 2:30 - 10:36 - Tenets of Intention & Accountability 10:36 - Wrap Up Hello Everyone, I hope all is well. Welcome to our second segment on Mental Wellness, this week 😊 In today's chat, we're delineating the differences between forgiveness & accountability, and talking about the many ways that they are mutually exclusive. Many people are led to believe that forgiveness and letting go of the energy that no longer serves us means not holding those who harmed us accountable. This couldn't be further from the truth. Remember, forgiveness is the freedom you give yourself to not be weighed down by bitterness, resentment, and ill will because of what took place. Forgiveness is the chicken noodle soup for your soul - no one else's.Accountability is the act of generosity, that teaches people that there are consequences to each action taken. When we fail to do what is needed to hold those who harm, out of carelessness or malice, accountable - it is impeding their growth, skewing their perceptions of reality, and feeding into a false sense of superiority. Focus on your healing and understand that intentionality helps to the process of forgiveness and accountability, interchangeably. Any questions?
