Welcome to our first segment on Mental Wellness, this week 😊 In today's conversation, we're addressing worry and anxiety. The degree with which you feel consumed by worry is an indication of the extent that you allow thoughts about the future to cannibalize on your ability to be in the present - in the now.. Ultimately, the future is uncertain. While logically, we all know that no amount of worrying is going to change what will take place in life, many of us are unable to kick the habit. So, I'd like to provide some practical steps to begin identifying the thoughts that are helpful, that enable us to focus our energy in the present, and also focus our attention on what it is we can control: our own efforts and time investment. Everything else, is what it is. There is freedom in acknowledging that no amount of mental energy that you expend hoping for your desired outcome will change how that path is laid out.
