Mental Wellness: The Aftermath of Betrayal | Why We Should Choose to Trust Again Even When It's Hard
from Support, Protect, Empower - The Project Purpose Podcast · host Rachelle Innocent
#MentalWellness #Betrayal #Forgiveness 0:00 - 2:35 - Intro 2:35 - 16:00 - On Betrayal & Trauma 16:00 - Wrap Up Hello Everyone! Welcome to our second segment on Mental Wellness this week 😊 In today's discussion, our focus of conversation is on recovering from the trauma that betrayal and deception can create. Betrayal is one of those experiences that takes on many forms. Whether you're dealing with the betrayal in an intimate or platonic relationship, be it personal or professional - being betrayed doesn't sting any less. Not to mention when the betrayal isn't accidental, but rather an intentional act to deceive, manipulate, and connive, by capitalizing on your misplaced sense of trust. The aftermath of betrayal can leave us feeling as though we need to take accountability for the betrayer, because of the negative impact their actions (or inactions) have had on us. How we engage with others should always be informed by our own authenticity. Let's intentionally make the decision not to give any betrayal the power to forever change the way we choose to interact and navigate the relationships we will create in the future. #mentalwellness #healing #trauma #recovery #selfdiscovery #alignment #trusttheprocess #forgiveness Do you have any questions regarding our resilience-building, parent-child workshops?
