#MentalWellness #Admiration #Envy0:00 - 2:30 - Intro 2:30 - 12:05 - A Survivor vs. A Victim 12:05 - Wrap Up Hello Everyone, I hope all is well. Welcome to our second segment on Mental Wellness, this week 😊 In today's conversation we're talking about the delineation between a survivor and a victim. One thing is certain, whether you self-identify as a survivor or a victim, there is no diminishing or minimizing that you've been through some horrific & traumatizing situations. This is without me needing to know what specifically you've endured. Any event that takes place in our lives that leaves us reaching for either or label speaks to the gravity of what has taken place. All to say, we can stay stuck mentally and emotionally in a state of suffering in remembrance, or we can move forward taking stock of our courage, our growth, and the sheer mental fortitude it took to push through (YOU did that). So let's talk about the differences between the two perspectives and take on the outlook that best serves us. Do you have any questions regarding our parent-child workshops?
