Welcome to our first segment on Mental Wellness, this week 😊 In today's conversation, we're talking about finding our way back to expression by reclaiming our voice. Many of us filter our thoughts, choices, and actions through the filter of perfectionism. Our aim is to model all that is expected of us, rather than to do what it is we feel inclined to do in that moment. We can easily become so consumed in meeting the expectations of others that we fail to see to what extent our own voice has taken the backseat. By the time we recognize that it's an issue, it becomes a process of self-discovery to not only find our voice, but also develop the values and beliefs that enable us to use it without the fear of judgment. Finding our voice is synonymous to giving ourselves permission to not be who people want us to be, and also not being who people expect. It's the true driver in being who you are, unapologetically. So if you're looking for a baby step towards expression, art is where you'll find it. #mentalwellness #perfectionism #expression #healingjourney Any questions?
