Let me tell you, it was a shitty experience. From there, it was sink or swim. He had to focus on his own business, "Fix It Rite!" My mom, Natalie, backed him 100%. They faced lean times, but he hustled. He'd be out working till midnight, but no matter what, we ate dinner together as a family. Every night. There's a lot to unpack here about family, business, and the crazy experiences along the way—like the time I almost got expelled in my senior year for doing "The Shocker" in front of the principal. It was a lesson in tough love and discipline, and how those lessons translate into business success.
