MERCY IS NOT A CURRENCY.

BELIEVERS BE ATTITUDES Series| BEATITUDES (5)| CHIMDI OHAHUNA. Bible Text: Matthew 5  1  And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:  2  And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,  3  Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4  Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 5. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.  6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. The first "be attitude" of the believer is to need God very much as a child of God. Never have enough of Christ. The second "be attitude" (Beatitude) reveals how we enjoy comfort via the person of the Holy Spirit. The third reveals how Meekness helps us in times of emotional highs to not curse God or hurt others. Meekness speaks/reveals the believer's absolute faith in God. The fourth "be attitude"- Hunger for Righteousness (HFR) & Thirst for Righteousness (TFR). TFR & HFR are needed to fully live the life of Christ and help us work the works of God. In this episode, we considered the fifth "be attitude". Beloved, the mercy of God has no hidden agenda, His show of kindness is not a currency He uses to get a man to do His bidding and enforce His will when one is not willing to do His will.
