Mercy: Compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one's power to punish or harm. The Lord is gracious and full of compassion. Slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. (Psalm 145:8-9) For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.  (James 2:13) I should show mercy to:         1.) S_________         2.) H_________         3.) C_________         4.) M_________ Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man.  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not  on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:3-6) wreath, but we an imperishable. 26 So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. 27 But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified. (1 Co 9:24–27, ESV)
