Merging the Kodály and Orff Approaches in your Classroom

We often associate singing with Kodály and instruments with Orff, but there's so much more to both approaches and wonderful ways to integrate them together in the classroom.  I'll be sharing three ways that I enjoy merging these two approaches together to bring students opportunities to experience structure of musical concepts with improvisation and composition, blending folk dancing with laban movement and body percussion, and incorporating singing with instruments.    Afternoon Ti: Blog:  https://afternoonti.blogspot.com Instagram:  @highafternoonti
