Merion Golf Club becomes the fourth anchor site for USGA

Every golfer dreams of winning at Merion. Now, the club on the Main Line is celebrating a major distinction from the USGA. It has named Merion an "anchor site." There are just three others in the country. The designation means more investment to "elevate the championship experience," as well as partnerships to benefit players, fans, and the area itself.Merion is already scheduled to host the U.S. Open in 2030, 2040 and 2050.
