Messy Utopia: The Blueprint | EP 7 | The Dawn of Us Podcast w/ Rubby Ben

Rubby reflects on how academia often isolates knowledge, contrasting this with the holistic learning in pre-colonial Africa, where life, community, and learning were interwoven. She critiques neoliberalism’s fragmented knowledge structure and shares her discovery of “messy utopia” through her professor, George Dei. This episode explores God’s “upside-down kingdom,” emphasizing true giving, strength in weakness, and redefining success through community rather than individualism. Rubby invites listeners to reimagine a world centered on humanity, grace, and spiritual solidarity.
