Metal to Motown

from I Am Indi, Entertainment Show · host World Movement Enterprises

Timothy Huston started playing in front of people at age 14 with kids from school (ages 18 or 19)A guy heard me sing at a party and offered me an audition for a local top 40 band. We started playing all the local clubs around Toledo. About 2 years later, I met a guy and his brother who had a touring band and had an opportunity to tour the Midwest mostly, along with some shows down south, toured for about 5 years with 3 bands -Flying Tiger, Crystal Haze, and Frontrunner. After returning home, decided to construct an all original metal band. We started writing and rehearsing and developing a decent following. We sent our songs all over the world, a local rock station started playing our songs along with a couple in Detroit and before you knew it, we had the #8 song on Shock Rock Radio in France, as well as Padova Italia in Italy for about 8 weeks. Needless to say, this was a blast and to also get fan mail from all over the world was a sheer delight.I then moved to Colorado in 91 and played in and around Denver for a couple years.  After that, joined "Jaded Poet", and started playing larger events/venues opening for a "ton" of national shows. Things then started to slow down and we were back in the local clubs. Thereafter, I decided that would be a good time to keep a promise to myself and start playing what I really loved, which was blues soul and funk, and begin an entire different project altogether, writing and composing tunes through way of what is now known as the TIM HUSTON PROJECT!  We hope that you enjoy our music and our signature sound!   -Timothy Huston, Founder and Front Man for The Tim Huston Project  Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/i-am-indi-entertainment-show--3433195/support.
