Busy couple of days, but I missed you guys! Since our last Morning Minute, the Mets wrapped up a 5-1 home stand before winning their first game in Sacramento v. the A's. Last night, however, the bats went cold again and the Mets were on the losing side of another frustrating game.The offense continues its cycle of boom or bust, with barely anything in between. David Peterson was sharp, but the 2 runs he gave up, were ultimately all the A's needed tonight. The Mets made some noise in the 9th against All-Universe closer Mason Miller, but it was too little too late. They're set for the rubber game today! This is a public episode.
