Mets have baseball's highest payroll! Again!

For the third straight season, the New York Mets had MLB’s highest payroll in 2024 at $333.3M. The Athletics, in their last season in Oakland, had the game’s lowest payroll at $66.5M. The disparity in payroll numbers for these clubs is staggering.
