Mets Rally Past Marlins in Thriller | Miami News

The Mets roar back with a 7-5 win over the Marlins, fueled by early homers from Lindor and Soto, plus a two-run blast from Brett Baty. Sean Manaea dazzled with 15 straight strikeouts en route to a near-perfect game—until a bloop single in the 6th sparked a Marlins rally that chipped away at the lead. Despite giving up five runs and being pulled after 61 pitches, Manaea struck out four without a walk. The Marlins clawed their way to a 7-4 lead in the 9th, but closer Kodai Senga locked it down with two punchouts. Though out-hit 10-8, the Mets hold on for their third straight win and climb out of the NL East cellar. Sandy Alcantara struggled, surrendering seven runs in under five innings. The Mets aim to keep rolling as they close out the series Wednesday. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
