In the series finale, Daniela shares the effects the introduction and developments in the drug trade have had on what is known as narcoculture.  The immigration of the Spanish and Chinese brought cannabis and opium to the forefront in narcotic production as their distribution gained momentum. Prohibition and other events in history shaped the drug trafficking world and continue to inspire movies based around this culture.  The episode goes on to entail the flair in fashion as well as the romanticization in narcocorridos and at times, the violent religious practices that the cartels perform. The episode closes with discussion of what the future might hold for narcoculture.
