Mexican fans try to keep Ecuador team awake at hotel ahead of World Cup clash

Social media was set ablaze after video footage of Mexican football fans hooting and making noise outside the Ecuadorian team’s hotel ahead of the match made the rounds. Mexican fans attempted to give the team a sleepless night after they gathered outside the Westin Hotel in Santa Fe. From midnight until the early hours of the morning, the crowd clamoured outside using loudspeakers, horns and motorcycles.
