Ludwig Johannsen, agrónomo zootecnista de origen mexicano, se ha convertido en el tercer mayor productor de lúpulo en Chile, tras llegar a Valdivia movido por el amor. Su proyecto, enmarcado en el Fundo Pichoy, busca revitalizar la industria local al producir lúpulo de alta calidad y acercar un producto fresco a los cerveceros de la zona, la cual importa más del 90% de este ingrediente a pesar de ser reconocida como la capital cervecera del país.
