The case against five men accused of the murder of Senzo Meyiwa will go on trial in the Palm Ridge regional court in October. The case has been set down from the the 25th of October to the 12 of November. The five appeared in the Boksburg magistrates court in Ekurhuleni this morning. The former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper was shot dead at the home of his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo in Voslroorus in 2014. The five face charges of face charges of murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.We spoke to Advocate Gerrie Nel,Head of Afriforum's Private Prosecution Unit, as he is representing the Meyiwa family
