Welcome to the Multi-FAMILY zone podcast, where business meets family. The hosts of the show, Julia and Gino Barbaro, have been married for over twenty years, and have six children.  Julia homeschools the children, and recently became a marriage and life coach to help couples become better communicators and help enrich their lives.  The couple is constantly asked about how they balance their entrepreneurial and real estate journey while raising their kids. The Multi-FAMILY zone was created to address these questions, along with a host of questions from the Jake and Gino community.   In this episode, Julia and Gino discuss how to set and accomplish priorities in your family and business life.  A priority is defined as a thing that is regarded as more important than another. You need clarity on what they are for you and in what order you need to set. They can and will change as you change and those around you. As your kids get older, their needs will change. You will constantly be reassessing them often.   When we run too thin and try and do everything we eventually get burned out and become unsatisfied with our life. The objective is to create priorities and to stick to them to avoid getting burned out.   Boundaries are vital to setting priorities, and being able to say no will allow you to focus on what is important to you.   Here is a framework to follow when establishing priorities:      Figure Out What's Most Important To You. ... Create An Action Plan. Designate Specific Time Slots For Tasks. Determine How You Want To Live Your Life. Talk To A Mentor.. Map Out Your Daily Tasks. Eliminate Distractions.
