Mi Familia (1995)/ Sierra Norte Purple Corn Oaxacan Whiskey

This week Malia and I finally break the seal on a bottle of Purple Corn Mexican Whiskey from Sierra Norte. We also finally chat about Gregory Nava's 1995 film 'Mi Familia'. Otherwise known as 'My Family'. This is a personal favorite of mine so I'm glad it's finally on the show. It's an epic story that follows three generations of a family, starting with Jose's walk from Mexico to Los Angeles CA in the 1920's.
