Hola apasionados del taekwondo... seguramente has escuchado o dicho esta frase. Es muy habitual, a los maestros no nos agrada pero estoy seguro que no dejaremos de escucharla.¿Qué se esconde detrás de esta frase?Por qué un papá o una mamá pueden pensar que su hijo no está preparado para un examen.Una respuesta simplista como maestros sería decir: no sabe. ¿Por qué me va a cuestionar un papá o una mamá que no saben nada de taekwondo si su hijo hace o no examen?El problema está en que ese papá o mamá que en teoría no sabe nada de taekwondo es el que toma la decisión sobre si el niño (su hijo) hace o no examen de taekwondo. Entonces lo más conveniente es que esa persona (que va a poner su dinero en un examen) sepa algo de taekwondo.Por qué... en la mayoría de escuelas. Al menos de aquí de México.El examen de taekwondo cuesta. Entonces un "mi hijo no está preparado", puede querer decir... "no tengo dinero" o "ahora no quiero pagar eso".Y bueno... a veces hay que aceptar eso. Pero en mi opinión hay que ser muy sinceros con los niños. Si no se tiene el dinero para pagar, no pasa nada. No se hace el examen y se ahorra para la próxima, pero no se vale echarle la culpa al niño, y decirle que no está preparado.¿Cuánto tiempo debe de pasar entre un examen y otro?No lo sé, depende de la escuela. En mi escuela entre 3 y 6 meses. O sea, hay periodos de examen cada 3 meses pero a muchos niños los hago hacer cada 6. ¿Por qué? Mi opinión es que eso hace que se valoren más los grados y promovemos algo más de paciencia en los alumnos, además de que nos da oportunidad de que el grado que ostente un alumno sea más solido.A veces me he ido a extremos de dejar pasar más tiempo pero creo que ha sido un error, pues también el alumno requiere un sentido de avance.Dejo el audio aquí abajo y te recuerdo que también puedes escuchar en Ivoox y Itunes
