se veía lo lejos que tarde o temprano pasaría: Los buenos números de la franquicia Dragon Ball en todos los frentes posibles: Videojuegos -con la franquicia DB Heroes a la cabeza- Cine, repeticiones en TV, éxito comercial del manga en diferentes países. Hizo que Toei Animation cortara por lo sano y saliera con este nuevo proyecto que ya tiene fecha de salida: Julio de este año, en su legendario horario de los domingos a las 9:00 por las pantallas de Fuji TV. Los propios involucrados, con Osamu Nozaki, productor de Dragon Ball a la cabeza, no pudieron sino expresar lo emocionados que están con este nuevo emprendimiento, ya que -a diferencia de DB GT- este cuenta con asesoramiento y guía del bueno de Akira Toriyama. Obviamente la trama será una continuación de lo visto en las nuevas películas, donde ya nos venían adelantando el gran cambio en el Dragon World con los nuevos niveles de Ki y los enemigos de otros universos. Es más, desde Toei ya adelantan que las batallas y enemigos serán más bestiales que nunca, superando a Buu y al nuevo Freezer. Este nuevo anime, se suma a esta nueva movida de Toei de revivir sus grandes franquicias donde se destacan Sailor Moon Crystal, Saint Seiya Gold of Soul, Digimon Tri y ahora Dragon Ball Super. La pregunta ahora es, ¿para cuando Toei la segunda temporada de Slam Dunk?
