Nos vemos pronto💙 English Version (click here) Something that has me very excited but at the same time intensely nervous is my Special Degree Project (SDP) or as it is usually known, Thesis; I have never done a research work of this style and that makes me very insecure and nervous, I am treading on ground I had never crossed before and I don't have good advice or guidance to face this big challenge but I have taken my first steps very calmly and they have been successful. At first I had no idea what topic to try, since high school I have been attracted by the psychology of color as its influence on the thoughts and feelings of people but as I didn't do a thesis to graduate, that topic was kept in a drawer until I realized that I could unite my two dreamed professions (audiovisual and psychology) with this topic. The problem with this topic is its magnitude, it is an excessively broad and ambiguous topic and as I am doing this work alone, it was going to cost me a lot so my Methodology professor recommended me to take the macro to the micro and analyze the psychology of color in a specific product; I had many ideas to study but a friend suggested me to do it on my favorite band, Twenty One Pilots, and the concept they have been creating for 9 years. Choosing this as my research topic has been amazing because it doesn't feel like a job or commitment but it is something that I was already doing out of passion and love every day with my older sister, that's another thing I love about choosing this topic, it unites me much more with my sister because it is our favorite band and it helps me to put together the line of research. I was very nervous that day because it is very hard for me to speak in public, although it may not seem like it, I really feel that I did very bad because the nerves made me speak very fast but everyone told me that I did very well and what I wanted to explain was understood; it made me very happy that my professor was interested in the band, its music and its concept thanks to my presentation so I feel that I did a good job despite everything. There were several classmates presenting that day and some were interactive, so I didn't feel alone for my type of presentation because it required the participation of the room for the presentation to be well understood. My sister accompanied me that day, she helped me a lot to keep calm and not to lose the thread of the idea, besides passing me the support material while I was explaining; I have already said it a lot but I will keep repeating it, my older sister is the most important person in my life, my pillar and my biggest support so I am infinitely grateful that she was able to attend to support me. If you made it this far, I thank you a lot; I hope you liked this mini-vlog of my exhibition.
