MIA Chatter is here!

Sept 3, 2010 Welcome to MIA Chatter. A website/podcast dedicated to furthering the education of Music Industry Arts students and anyone that is interested in the audio or Entertainment Business. This site was started by Andrew van der Voort, Justin Shorey and Justin Helle, all of which are 2nd year MIA students. Through our posts and pod casts we plan on discussing topics that we think are important to being successful within MIA. We will also be talking about subjects we think everybody should know about when surviving in the music world and news and updates on local MIA bands. We will be drawing from our personal experiences as musicians and MIA students as well as having guests from within and outside of the program to get other view points on subjects we discuss. We strongly believe that networking and supporting your fellow musicians is the key to success in our industry. Stay tuned for our first pod cast where we will be talking about going into first year MIA and ways you can prepare.
