Episode 114 of the Only in Miami Show featured a discussion with Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado about climate change and author and producer Jacob Katel about the books he's written in addition to film production with a special guest call from artist Ahol Sniffs Glue. We spoke with Mayor Regalado about climate change and sea level rise and how he got to ask the only question about those topics to Marco Rubio at this year's GOP Primary Debate last week. Mayor Regalado explained what the City of Miami is doing to mitigate sea level rise, and its participation in the Paris climate accords. According to the Mayor, zoning changes will be required to ensure that our city, rated the single most exposed real estate market to climate change, stays above water. Most recently Jacob Katel collaboration with the artist Ahol Sniffs Glue to produce "I've Never Not Been From Miami" which has aired on Miami's PBS station WPBT and is showing at the Olympia Theater in downtown MIami.
