Mic The Gardener - Gardening Podcast - Young Horticulturist of the Year 2022 - Charles Shi

Hello and welcome back to this week's episode of the Mike the Gardener – Gardening Podcast. If you're a regular to the podcast, you'll know I spoke to Victoria, national organiser and chair of the Young Horticulturist of the Year competition in May this year.  I'm passionate about looking to the future for gardening and horticulture and for getting the next generation of gardeners on board. One of the most reassuring things that came out of my chat with Victoria was that 2000 young horticulturists enter this competition. Today I speak to the 2022 winner, Charles Shi. We chat about his journey through the competition and what it feels like to be the winner of the Young Horticulturist of the Year competition 2022.
