Micah 4:1-5
from Ascend Bible Church Hosted by Mitch Green
Will injustice ever end? Will war ever cease? Will fear finally disappear? In Micah 4:1–5, the prophet lifts our eyes beyond the brokenness of the present to God’s promised future. Through the lens of the New Testament, we see that these promises find their fulfillment in Jesus Christ. In this message, we explore the biblical truth that God’s Kingdom is already—but not yet. Jesus inaugurated His Kingdom at His first coming, is gathering the nations through the gospel today, and will one day return to restore all things. Main Idea: Jesus has begun His Kingdom, is gathering the nations, and will one day restore all things. In this sermon: Jesus Established His Kingdom (Micah 4:1–2) Jesus Is Gathering and Transforming the Nations (Micah 4:2–3) King Jesus Will Restore All Things (Micah 4:3–5) Whether you’re wrestling with the state of the world or longing for hope in the middle of suffering, Micah reminds us that Christians live between the empty tomb and the new creation—confident that King Jesus is making all things new. If this message encouraged you, we’d love for you to like this video, subscribe to the channel, and share it with someone who needs the hope of Christ today.
