Micah's Message

This episode provides an exposition of the Old Testament book of Micah, structured as a series of instructional lessons. The text explores the prophet's eighth-century BC message, which transitions from severe divine indictments against social injustice and religious hypocrisy to a messianic vision of future restoration. The prophetic text emphasizes the sovereignty of God in punishing sin while highlighting His long-suffering patience and the eventual gathering of a faithful remnant. Specific focus is placed on the birthplace of the Messiah in Bethlehem and the promise of a Shepherd-King who brings ultimate peace. Finally, the text concludes by celebrating the character of God, specifically His delight in mercy and the forgiveness of iniquity. contact: [email protected]
