From kid MJ to MJ breaking away from his family, Michael is a music heavy biopic that tries to humanize the once larger than life entertainer. Jaafar Jackson channels Michael and gives an amazing performance of older Mike in his first acting role ever. Colman Domingo plays a menacing Joe Jackson and Nia Long as the comforting Catherine, the movie shows MJ wanting to be creatively free and cinematically does so. Please!
