Michael Aubrey earned a M.A. in Linguistics and Exegesis from Trinity Western University in British Columbia, Canada. His thesis was titled “The Greek Perfect and the Categorization of Tense and Aspect: Toward a Descriptive Apparatus for Operators in Role and Reference Grammar.” He also studied at the Canada Institute of Linguistics. He specializes in Cognitive-Functional approaches to language, with particular interest in Koine Greek. Currently, he works as a Language Editor for Logos Bible Software but is in the process of transitioning to Wycliffe Bible Translators/SIL International. He is also the senior editor for Koine-Greek.com, which focuses on making technical linguistic research more accessible and available for students and scholars.
