Michael Barkman: Canadian Community Economic Development Network

Michael Barkman is a life-long Winnipegger and Manitoban, with a deep affection for the lands and water of Treaty 1 and 3 Territory. Michael cares deeply about social, economic, and environmental justice, and believes in collective movements and solutions rooted in the knowledge of local communities. He is able to practice this through his role as the Public Policy Coordinator with the Canadian Community Economic Development Network (CCEDNet) - Manitoba.
