He also previously taught Shakespeare, British theatre, and Anglo-Welsh poetry at Georgetown University and led Georgetown's academic and residential programs in Fiesole, Italy. Mike holds a bachelor's degree from Fordham University and both a master’s degree and Ph.D. from New York University.
