Michael Fox on the attempted coup in Venezuela

All eyes turned to Venezuela on April 30th, when the self-declared interim President Juan Guaido announced what he called "the final phase" of his effort to wrest power from the democratically elected government of Nicolas Maduro. Brazil-based freelance journalist Michael Fox was in Caracas on the day of the attempted coup. Speaking late last week to our own Alex Whisson, Michael began by outlining the day’s events and what he personally witnessed on the streets of the Venezuelan capital.
